Some hire depots might have better equipment,i am just saying what happened to me.Alex do you really think the people working in the bar,hotels,restaurants etc are making any extra money because the prices have gone up?re: Go somewhere else

Verucca fom a ski boot....???? Interesting bearing in mind you would have ski socks on!!! Bare ski intact - OK then fair enough - but.....I doubt it - GAWD!!!!!! Will folk stop at nothing to blame BG...

you should of seen the boots! apparently it is possible with socks on cant think of anyway else i got it ..anyway point was the equipment was woefully bad and theres no way round that.. just a fact .re: Go somewhere else
Borovets has some better ski hire shops away from the big hotels (which as you're a captive client don't need to bother about upgrading kit until it literally disintegrates). The gear in Bansko was good when it was new 3 years ago but is looking increasingly tatty - when I ski in Europe or the US at least the premium gear is brand new every year, but then you pay 50-70 US a day rental. I can get a pair of good skis in Bansko for 10 euro a day. Otherwise comments on the state of Borovets ...

omigod I wish I never mentioned it now yes I spose the hotel shower etc ..etc.. doesnt really matter the POINT was that rooter said the equipment was bad and got slated for it.. I was agreeing saying that it was really bad from the captive ski depot (samakov) and ppl deserve to know that so they can take their own or hire somewhere else ok?? I wish you would all calm down a bit, be less defensive and read the posts more carefully.. I will keep quiet in future if it suits you..nothing to ...

I was trying to be helpful to give feedback for ppl considering skiing there (borovets) I dont suppose any of you use the ski depots, if you go all the time,you probably use your own gear. it seems strange that you seem to be so confrontational.
