I never thought that would bow down to a Donkey when there are so many people that require your informed comments relating to the weather. I can only assume you were looking for an excuse not to post anymore and it is a shame because so many people look forward to reading your predctions.

You will let down so many people if you do not continue, not that Im trying to put you under pressure at all !

People have a choice. The same choice as if they were watching Tv or listening to the radio. If they dont like what they see or hear, they can change. Same as they DONT HAVE TO READ YOUS POSTS IF THEY DONT LIKE THEM.

Trouble is, they love them otherwise they wouldt comment !

Hornster, to set the record straight.

In no way did i take offence to your updates.
What i did have a dislike to was the detailed analysis that appearred or was appearing in nearly every thread. More importantly every time some got a glimmer of good news, there was a cautionary post immediatley following it. Once again the whole speel and detailed analysis. Everytime someone found good news ( or should i say potentially) on weather sites, another cautionary post lambasting the accuracy of said site.

Just think it has got too detailed. Im in the same situation as everybody else.

Yup I am and for those of you who pointed out that I don't have to read em. Well I do becuase I have to check the postings on here as an Admin. And before some clever dick points out that they think I or Pete get paid for doing so we do not and nor do either of us have any business interest's in Bulgaria. Instead we just have to take flack all the time from people who don't like a posting being deleted or being told to calm down.

This is a discussion forum and again I will point out an error above. It is not an open forum it is a private forum where people can exchange views. I was merely putting mine. I have a different point of view from some of the others above merely that I don't like the in depth forcast's that are becoming to frequent. I have not asked you nor will I ask you to stop nor will they be deleted. It was just my humble opinion and it is a great shame you are not allowed to have an opinion without some small minded people shouting you down and calling you names.

So Benson and Hornster please feel free to contiue.

Appreciate that snow-forcast.com forcasts etc etc are no way accurate. This was proved around the snowfall of the 3rd..well to be fair, all of the 'touristy' web site forcasts did show the snow, but most of them added it after it actually started snowing!

What Benson and Hornster are doing is this...they are concentrating on one location (unlike other websites that concentrate...on the whole world!!) and from professional data they are giving us the BEST available forcast for Bulgaria..not Europe or north America etc.

The eastern European weather can change in a matter of hours to give differing results and when these changes occur, an update is sometimes given. We are all going on a ski-ing holiday and we want snow. Because there is a lack of it, we are all getting obsessed with the weather.

I also look at the 'current models' and I am fortunate enough to understand them, to a degree, and so far the weather boys predictions are not dissimilar from mine. I compare these to the 'touristy' sites and they bare no resemblance.

The weather IS changing. Its been settled for a long time now but pressure is changing and its looking like end of this week.

To give a once a day forcast is ok, but by the next day it could be so different and a few of you would suggest that the 2 weather boys didnt know what they were talking about if this was the case, because in 24 hours the outlook can be so different.

It is just unfortuate that the weather is proving a major part of our holidays.

Perhaps we could have standard Message subjects for predictions, then readers can make a choice if they want to read or not!!
