Hi Everyone,
We think this is good news.....but we have now agreed a share in a restaurant in Borovets at the top of the mountain. As you know, we have never had any vested interest in any business here before and won't be constantly involved on a full-time basis. I am not going to keep advertising the restauarant etc, but based on other posts re: prices, this post is more about letting you know that prices will be reasonable and not OTT.
We have been 'negotiating(!!) with the other ...

We have been 'negotiating(!!) with the other partner re: food / drinks prices as we wanted to be happy with things before we agreed to take it on. He has finally agreed to go with our suggestion of cheaper prices than before, such as 4 lev for a large beer, 3 for a soft drink, 8lev for a cheeseburger and chips etc. At the moment, we can't get him to go any lower than this as the rest of the restaurants are sticking to last years prices of at least 20% more but we'll try and offer some meal-deals etc to make it cheaper!
We are also trying to see if there is anyway to get a webcam in the restauarant so you can see the slopes at the top but no idea where to start with this!!

P.S I did check with Pamprovo Pete that he still was happy for me to be a moderator of the forum even though we were now having a business interest in Borovets and he is happy with this.

Thanks Snow White - we're going to try it as Bobby struggled to get any work all summer, so although he is still going to ski this season, we had to try something else as well!In terms of discount - of course 10% goes without saying if they mention Bulgariaski!! And maybe the odd free shots here and there as well...especially if I'm in there!!!

Thanks loads for the support - we're worried sick - I've never even pulled a pint, although I've drunk a lot of them...!
Snow Plough - especially for you and D'booo, we will organise lock-in's....!! Once a week or so, we will try and keep it open until 7 if poss, for people to have a few extras and then ski down the mountain - although everyone will have to leave together and we will provide free head-torches for all! If people do stay late though we will make sure there is ...

Although Bobby said to say, we will lock away the rakia.....!!

p.s have changed profile to Bobby & Kas as he provides all the info on here, I just type it!!p.p.s The picture isn't of us dressing up - it was our wedding in June and we had to walk round a table several times whilst bowing in at each third corner, wearing these on our heads...
