Its finally time to break the silence. Arie and I finally signed the contracts yesterday, and We're.............Back at the Alpina for our second season!!!
We're really looking forward to welcoming back old friends and making many new ones! We have waited so long to post as there was talk of an extension being added to the bar, but in the last couple of days we've found out that we can't get the planning permission needed for this season. Instead Arie and I are referbishing the bar starting from today, so its obviously full steam ahead as we open in 4 weeks time, ready for students weekend.
We plan to continue if not increase the standards we set last year by bringing affordable but decent food and drink to all! We've also updated the karaoke over the summer so now have over 30,000 tracks to choose from including all the latest chart tracks. We hope this year to have film nights, comedy nights, oh and course our curry night plus loads of other events throughout the season.
If anyone has any suggestions for us for our up coming season please let us know, as any comments may help us to make this season more enjoyable than the last.
Once again we look forward to seeing all the Borovets visiters this season!

Hi AimeeWasn't in Borovets last year but we're back this February. Not had the pleasure of coming to your bar, but heard a lot about it from other posts.
For me (and probably others who would love to meet you too!) whereabouts can we find you?

Great news to hear you will both be back, looking forward to seeing you in Feb, the ony suggestion i could make is maybe have some cushion flooring for when you fall out it wont hurt as much

Sounds good, never visited the alpina but heard good reports and also seen alot of photos of matt p the lad im going to work for in there so im guessing over the coming season il have a few drunken nights in there, especially if you can give my girlfriend a little work.

Thanks for the support from all that have met us before, and for those who are new to the Alpina, we are located opposite hotel flora. Or for better directions come out of the gondola and take a right and we're the last bar on the left!We've also been told today that we could be expecting snow at the beginning of next week! Fingers crossed!!
