After reading your mail I have just checked and found our youngest (10 years old)only has 5 months left on his passport.
So I have booked a visit to the passport office in London on Friday, but have been advised to contact the Bulgarian embassy tomorrow (0207 584 9400) to see if we need to renew the passport.

Are you staying in Borovets? We leave on boxing day and I would like to find you and buy you a Bulgarian beer.

gary your sons passport will be ok you only need 3 months on it ... we spoke to the Bulgarian embassy ... but we thought ours ran out in may 05 but they run out 7/march 05 we go to pamps on the 23-12-04 have a great time in boro

You need 3 months left including the day of departure from Bulgaria. Get new passports ASAP. Trust me We know. Please get new [passports or they won't let you fly.

just had similar problem and in our case it was the uk airport which would not let you fly with less than 6 mths. Bulgaria had less of a problem with 3 mths on passport.
