Bansko is a town, you can walk to the gondola - Pamp is the hotels spread around, no town, drive to the lift

I can also highly recommend the Kempinski Hotel in Bansko. Literally 20m outside the front door is the gondola station and you can ski back into the hotel ( Very Happy) at the end of days skiing.

Sorry Suzy, but I haven't been to Borovets. Bansko is where it is at in my opinion when it comes to Bulgarian ski resorts. Very Happy
