hi im going on the 17th was there 2 years ago and had great time but food a bit naff and cold hope it has improved ,spent most of the time in thehotel shop buying energy bars . i will be sat round the main bar when we arrive sat night cheers phil

i stayed there a couple of years ago and had a great time the food wasnt up to much ate out every night. going again this year 10th -17th and staying in the ela! cant wait last time was a blurr beer was that cheap! but suspect it will be even more of a blurr as going with 3 lads this time re: HOTEL SAMOKOV

We have stayed here 4 years on the run now and have had no problems at all.
The food is somewhat basic, but it is Bulgaria afterall. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful.
The ski school is fantastic. We do 6-Day learn to ski package and the instructors are able to speak very good English and are very caring and take each persons ability into consideration.
My husband and I did consider changing hotels this year, but on the face of it there is a great swimming pool, ...

As all the reviews above state its a pretty fine hotel- basic- oldish but good quality. pancakes in the reception-yummy! Food hit and miss but allways something to find,never go hungry- soups ok ad deserts fine (kids loved them!)
Presentation night at night club (basement) good laugh, each group has a table with wine and snacks etc put out when you arrive and they (Ski instuctors) make an effort to give you a good night.
