Half Term

Hi when ye talk bout 1/2 term in feb are ye on bout skool hols? When exactly is that wk an does it really effect how busy the resort is? Thanks G

Half term is extremely busy and the holiday prices also rise substancially.

Half term is from 18th - 22nd Feb '08.

Not all schools have same week - depends which LEA. Ours is week earlier than that

Im in Manchester and the school hols are from the 11th feb onwards.

We've been half term week last two years (no choice - work in school). It's busy, but not so much that it becomes a problem. Weather Feb 07 was ok - skiing at top of mountain was good, although not mid-station downwards. It just meant that we had to come down last bit in gondola at end of each day - not really a problem. Feb 06 was fantastic - deep snow all way down.
It does tend to be more expensive though - like all school holidays

So doesnt make huge differance then i just dont like the taught of queing for lifts all day when your mad 2 ski!!
