hello all, anyone have any information on the so called permanent halpipe at bankso, does it really exsist....heading out there on 1 of march so any heads up on pipe or fun parek would be appreciatedre: Halfpipe - Bansko
We're out there same date
Don't think it is up to a great standard, saw a photo of it and doesn't look well kept but I may be wrong!

The park should be much improved on last year as the Burton tour hits Bansko mid Feb, fingers crossed it might be OK

sweet, sounds like its going to be a good one.....they would had to have made the park up sick for the burton tour....lets just hope they leave it inre: Halfpipe - Bansko
Hi,We were in Bansko last year, and will be out there next week, but I still haven't found the halfpipe or the snowtowers/cones that everybody talks about. Apparently the halfpipe is neear the snowtowers/cones, which isn't much use if you can't find them.
Have you got any idea where it is, or where you can find any pics on the web?

the pipe is in the bunderitsa polyana ( not sure on spelling) on the left hand side as you are looking out from the gondola. saw it when i last went out two years ago and it could bearly be called a half pipe. if fact i wouldnt call it a half pipe. i've seen it in photo's this year and it looks the same. i may be wrong but i wouldnt get your hopes up. lets hope the park is better this year. out on the 10 th March.have fun

hi Phil,Thanks for the reply. I think I know where you mean, it's where the ski map has always shown it, but last year there was nothing there.
Run 1 (the ski road) comes down to the Gondola station, and in the area where it should be is a 4man chair, and a kids slope with conveyor belt lift, but no half pipe (unless they've hidden it somewhere!!)
If I find it I'll let you know.
