Hammering down in Borovets

Heavy snow on the webcams and due to continue through tomorrow, let's hope it's enough to open the closed runs, only four more work days to go!

Hi Paul, it snowed all night in Samokov, lots of digging this morning, as you say about a foot of snow.
Sitnyakovo 2 is not groomed but it is officially open and Sitnyakovo 1 is open all the way now, so we are getting more runs to play on.

Snow forecast.com talking about rain at resort level through week hopefully they're wrong.

It has been a very weird morning!! Heavy snow, then rain, then heavy snow and now rain again!! Don't panic though, still snow at the top!

some websites are predicting it to be rain .... fingers crossed the temps will stay down or if not that the bulk of it arrives in the night when temps are lowest .
