Has anyone been skiing in Slovenia

no but i have been told its lovely but runs limited very cheap but thats only what i have been told so cant swear to it xx

Thanks, we been to pamps for past two years but lack of snow putting us off going back although we still had a good time. Prices look very similar and hotels look ok, maybe will give it a go.

debs, is it higher up (ie more likely to have snow) than in Pamps? Can you not find a review site for Slovenia similar to this (brill) board?

Have looked for review site, but cant see one (maybe looking in the wrong place). If anyone knows of one would appreciate the link....

went to kranjska Gora for New Year limited snow so not many runs were open and the ones open not very long. had a good time though very different to borovets not been to others in Bg so can't compare. lovely people and ski instuction was great. stayed in kompass hotel and very impressed, food great ate in every night. flight short and under 1 hr transfer. Nice family resort. tried looking on web for forum like this but no luck

nightlife being quiet sounds good to me. Also fancying Kransja Gora. When you say the runs are short, approximately how long would you say, also are they green (!!)
