Fiona,was it difficult getting flights. And what about from the airport to the accommodation, cost ,difficulty ect. And the ski hire or lift pass. It all seems very problomatic, but i would love it if you could tell me different.

Bulgaria Air ( National Schedule Airline ) are massively overbooked over the xmas and new year period. More than 200 people have moved from their flights. They are trying to accommodate the people with transatlantic connections first, then people with regular schedule tickets and unfortunately for people flying with a reservation through Balkan Holidays they have a blocj charter and have the last priority. I cannot imagine what this has cost Balkan Holidays to charter an aircraft from AIR ...

Just spoke to someone at A.B.T.AI have told them about flights being redirected ( in some casses another country) basically they have told me they do not see it a serious breach of contract.If all they are doing is dropping passengers off and then taking off again.I still think this is a liberty but well there`s nothing that can be done

just dont use balkan holidays or if you do book with them make them write a clause stating if they change your flight details you want a refund or something of value if they dont wont to do it go else wherere: Here we go- flight changes from balkan have arrived!

Hi everyone, I have been reading the forum for a few weeks now but this is my first post. Must say; have really been enjoying reading the posts and it's all helped with the build up and excitement to our holiday!!!!
Anyways I am now worried because we are going to Borovets with Balkan from Manchester 30th Dec but haven't heard anything about our flights being changed. See... you worry if you do hear something and worry if you don't!

I'm going with Balkan from Bristol on 29th Dec. Tickets arrived a week ago, and no flight changes - so far.Last year I got notification of a flight change shortly after paying the holiday balance in November.

Been to Boro 5 times with no probs and you were just having a giggle. Then! the dreaded letter arrives this morning!
8 of us going 12th Jan, flight has been changed. We have been offered a later non stop flight or an earlier flight with stop off. Either flight they have offered a 1/3 refund on our cost or if we choose the earlier flight with stop off to pick up other passengers, we have been offered to be collected by limo and ...
