I just read in one of the other posts that you had some pampering done in a spa in Pamps. As it looks like I wont be doing much (if any) skiing I was wondering if you could tell me what spa you went to and would you reccomend it?
Apart from drinking (which I dont want to do that much of!) there doesnt seem to be much more to do other then ski so i thought I nice pamper would pass the time!
I use the Murgavets hotel spa, but only because I stayed there, the Pamps hotel was good but that was two years so not sure what it is like now... you do have to book in advance they get booked up pretty quick but they are half the price of the UK and normally twice as good, the bulgarian aromatherapy massage is generally good, nice and relaxing.... the Murgavets has a steam room and sauna, the steam room is 15 lev extra but really relaxing especially if you are using it on your own, take a ...

yes the orlovetz will have a spa and it is new so will be lovely, any treatments you have should be well worth the money, don't forget your flip flops, the hotel probably provides a dressing gown, so you just need to put your cossie and flip flops on and dressing gown to go down to the spa.
my wife had a massgae in the orlovetz last week it lasted 50 mins and cost 40 levs, she said it was nice and relaxing but was more of a little rubbing of oils rather than a massage. in the pamps they vae thia girls that do massages but i think thats quite expensive.
there is something like that all over in Bulgaria, all the major hotels have spas, I paid 55 lev for the bulgarian massage which takes about one hour 15 minutes, 45 levs for a pedicure, and I think about 65 lev for a facial which took about an hour, I stayed it the Lion in Bansko which offered the same.
Gill i was going to try and catch up with you in one of the bars last week but me and the wife were full of cold and couldnt cope with the smoke filled bars, my son spent new years eve in white hart and got well drunk
we stayed at the Murgavets bar on New Years then went to the empty DJ's bar which was rubbish, my friends daughters went in the White Hart after that so maybe your son met them, Chloe and Amber?
Hope you had a nice time, I enjoyed myself but it would have been nicer if more snow but we cannot change that.
