Hi, I'm new to the forum and just thought I would say Hi.We are going to Borovets on the 21st February for a week, looking forward to just having a break even if there isn't any snow
We have been to Borovets for the last few years and always have a great time! Anyway just thought I would drop by and say Hi!

Yes it was a ski injury. Some idiot put a huge mound of snow on the piste 
My ski's stopped in it , didn't release but my legs kept on going down the mountain - I had to be stretchered off! Embarrassing, and after surviving a very icy/stony January trip to not be able to spend the rest of the week skiing in near perfect conditions! They are going to rebuild me at the end of this month so I'll need to take it easy. Will probably pay a little more for a nicer hotel with spa facilities ...

I'd be amazed if there was no snow in Feb so you won't have a problem but like you say you make the most of whatever you get. 2012 I may try boarding instead! X

oh no Caz it sounds painful! I alway cringe when I see someone being stretchered off the slopes
Yeah def make the most of spa facilities lol, The Rila spa looks nice, haven't been in but have seen it on a leaflet?
We were there in October and it snowed, it was gutting cos obviously none of the slopes were open as the season hadn't started.
