Is the resort quite small? Will i have to go far to collect my equipment and have the lessons? Is it far into the centre as i may partake in a few beers on an evening!
Any advice, tips or anything else would be very welcome!
Now gonna go and buy some ear off ebay!!

re: Hi

paul there were ski pants/jackets etc in Tesco for a fiver last week and Aldi are very cheap for gear. Not worth buying off ebay as the postage cost'll be high. try Aldi, Tesco and TKMaxx. You don't need expensive stuff. Esp if you're a relative novice. It's all about layering. Goggles we got brand new from ebay for £2.50 incl postage. but that was last yr. Don't know anything about Pamps, sorry!
Do they not offer you a package where you've booked? We paid £150 for an inclusive package ...

re: Hi

Hi Skatergirl.
Thanks for the response. Tbh ive spent just about my entire budget on getting there and lift pass and equipment hire. I was gonna get a package including the above but left it too late so had to take what i could in the end! The package on here is €140 so that doesnt sound a lot.
And yes my budget is very small for buying jackets and stuff so i will have a look at aldi tomorrow, ifi get time as i am gonna try and get a lesson. I am basically a total beginner!

I cant wait! ...

I cant wait! Not looking forward too much to the 4 hour transfer but i guess the scenery will be nice at least.

If you wanna ramble on with any advice or tips or anything at all i am a willing listener.
Thanks.

re: Hi

T K Maxx probably your best bet (helmets in Aldi, but most of rest of stuff now sold out).

re: Hi

Hi Paul,
Hotel Pamporovo is a bit out on a limb but a very nice hotel. About a 10 minute stroll to the resort centre but the ski bus stops right outside your hotel each morning and drops you back in the evening.

You will find more than enough to keep you occupied during your stay. Head for Daks Bar if you're looking for a late drink with a good party atmosphere, and the White Dog pub at Malina 2 for a friendly beer after boarding.

ENJOY!

re: Hi

Thanks guys.
Just bought a Trespass jacket off ebay for £12. It was listed as green with a poor picture so will have to see what thats like if it arrives in time!!
10 min stroll is fine.
Will i be close to the place where i go for lessons? Walkable or not? Do i walk to lessons in my hired boots or do you have lockers? Im such a novice!!

Cheers

re: Hi

The ski bus will drop you at the depot next to the slopes for you to collect your gear every day. Your hire will include storage at the slopes so no need to carry them around. I would say Hotel Pamporovo is about a mile and a half from the slopes, but why walk when the ski bus is free?

re: Hi

Im very nervous about it all!!!

re: Hi

Pick up in the morning is from approx. 8.30am - 10am. In the afternoon the run back from about 3.30pm - 5pm. If you miss the last one there are always loads of taxis waiting to pick up the stragglers.

Relax - your rep will make sure you are well looked after.
