Hiringequipment in Bansko? Might be worth a read.

If you're off to Bansko then have a good time, but........

Should you be hiring eqpt, especially skis, then some form of lightweight lock (cycle etc) might be a good idea. You can lock several sets together, but tie them to the ski rack as well not just to each other. Just pack the lock away carefully so should you fall it won't hurt you. It's not such a problem up the mountain, mainly an Apres thing..........

Don't say you weren't told.........

Should have read "Hiring equipment....." Doh.

The rest of the advice stands as it is though.

Ken, mate, had a brilliant (second this season) time. And thanks for the concern but none of my eqpt went (it's mine and I board). The advice is for those going. At least if you're aware of the "problem" you can take steps to make sure it's not you.

Or simply pay a few quid each day and have them locked at the gondola in the ski lockers before you go for apres ski and it also saves you carrying them too. You can leave boots too, well worth every penny. Or leave them at the hire shop.

Garry mate you're way off the mark. The "theft happens blah blah blah" we all know. But the "naive" comment is bang on.......but not in the sense you mean it.
