Hotel Bor

Anyone have any Idea what Hotel Bor is like in Borovets, Is it close to ski lifts, entertainment etc??

It's about a 10 - 15 minute walk from the slopes, but is the one where the photos of the frozen fountains are taken.

The Rila is right by the slopes, cross the road and you get to the Iglika, down a bit further and you get to the Samokov and further on and up a hill (I remember the coach having trouble getting up the hill at 2.30am) and you get to the Bor and Edelweiss.

You'd be best getting a cab in the evenings after partying and drinking the night away - best to be safe

hey mate if you aint booked yet get in the rila we are back for the third time lots of great bars for fun and some nice candy on the eye no wat i meann

hello nigel. i am not skiing if i go because of my knees and my age( see previous posts nigel it is all there you you to read) so i will have lots of time to sit around and eat the candy with you. is the chocolate very different to over here nigel. i like crunchies and sometimes a double decker and chocolate buttons

Thanks all for your comments, we have booked already so can not change, was just wondering what it was like, we are a group so I am sure we will be ok.

Is there a bus from the hotel to the lift base??

This could come in very useful as the week progresses!
