I have say I agree with Judith, except we are not going back there this year as they had no room available for when we wanted to go.

The Iglika is very convenient being near ALL of the Shops, Bars, Restaurants, Ski Depot and Slopes. From the front door, you cross the road, go across the Rila Car Park, up the stairs in to the Rila, out of the other side and you are on the slopes. About a minutes walk if that !.

I managed to get myself in to an apartment last year which was very spacious, comfortable and warm. A friend stopped in a normal sized room which was more than adequate.

There was always hot water for the shower. The rooms were warm and clean. Even the TV had a choice of channels. The food was good and there was plenty of variety and choice. The Staff are very friendly and helpful. The "public" areas were clean and the seating was comfortable. There is also a fitness room downstairs amongst other things.

We are stopping at the Hotel Ela this year. I just hope it is as good as the Iglika Palace.

We stayed in the Igilika this year and were really pleased.
The hotel has a really nice and cheap bar area and the food is good and hot if you get there early. We had no problems with the rooms although they were very warm when we were there.
If you get a room by the lift or main staircase you may need ear plugs or drink enough to pass out as it can be noisy.
The hotel has a money changing facility which was open when we got there late on the Saturday night. Just take some English pounds!
