Hotel Moura advice?

Hi all, can anyone give me any info on the hotel moura in Borovets? Anything we should be aware of or ask for when 6 gents get there 23rd Feb. Can't seem to get much from online searches except small pics and the usual travel company blurb. Is there a pool or sauna in a nearby hotel we can use (pay of course). How far to ski-snowboard school (Nielson holidays)? Standard of food-rooms etc. Stayed at Perelik and Mourgavets in Pamps the last 2 years. How does it compare? Thanks in advance!!! ...

re: Hotel Moura advice?

Honestly it is not great in my opinion. The rooms were cold and old fashioned. The food was terrible. However, it is in a good location. There are loads of decent restaurants around, including the happy duck next door. It is a 5min walk to Gondola up the road.
Interestingly there was a lap dancing club in the basement (really). There is a pool in the Rila Hotel, although i understand it can be quite cold. I am sorry, I dont mean to dampen your spirits. Borovets is a excellent place, great ...

re: Hotel Moura advice?

Hey Pepe,i stayed the last yr 3 lads,Great bar with a fab happy hour, food not fantastic but we always found something nice..

The rooms were basic but clean and ours was very very warm, there is a club underneath but a dance club we went down a few times and i never saw any strippers...Shame !!

It takes 2 mins if that to get to the gondola, and i think Neilson use the ski depot underneath the gondola...

Hope this helps..

re: Hotel Moura advice?

Thanks guys. Considering it's close to the lifts etc, there isn't much info to be had.
Anyone else been?

re: Hotel Moura advice?

I stopped there a few years ago and its basically warm and clean. There is the urmmmmm odd club underneath and the food was different but its ok to rest your head and the bar was really friendly :-)

Very close to the lifts I must say and handy at nights.

I am coming to borovets in a few weeks but trying the hotel bor this time.
