Ok second posting, Can anyone give me some honest opinions on the rooms at Olymp and cleanliness as i have just read that there was green mould on walls and bathrooms unusable. Not bothered about food will eat out but it would be nice to know that i have a clean warm bed to hop into after a day and night in Boro. Or after reading recent posts to recover from the Bulgarian Flu lol.
Thanks ooh and off on 26th of Feb so see all the peeps going then.
the crysral ski brochure describes the hotel as having basic accomodation with various leisure facilities and represents great value for money. 10 mins from resort centre. I'm there 26th so we'll have to see if it lives up to the brochure!!
I never stayed in the Olymp, but I think and this is my opinion about this hotel it will be a good and pleasureful hotel for the things it was build. I know the hotel and looked into every time I was nearby. Because I'm a sportsman and the Olymp is the Sporthotel in Borovez, gymx, courts for BAdminton, Tennis, Volleyball, Basketball etc.
And I know sportiv people have not the biggest wishes for luxure but need good beds and bathrooms.

We were at the Olymp last year and were well satisfied. Accommodation was clean and virtually what you would expect of a one or two star hotel over here.
Food was the basic stuff we have had every time we have stayed in Bulgarian ski hotels (5 times) - edible, but never hot enough. Breakfast was very good and set you up for the day, evening fayre nothing to get excited about.

We never had any problem with the beds, perfectly comfortable, but there again after a day skiing we could sleep on virtually anything! Bathroom was ok & plenty of hot water. View wasnt much as the hotel is built between the slopes of two of the runs so the back faces the side of a mountain - at close range.
Good Pool, if a little cool and plenty of other facilities.
Taxis always available to take you the 150 yards into the Centre if you dont fancy walking down the slope. We used to walk down and taxi back - about £3.
Overall good value for the money paid so go with an open mind and make the most of it - you will definitely enjoy!!
Good Luck
