Unlike others I shall say this only once.When I was at the Pamporovo Hotel at Xmas there were no cases of overbooking.
Someone has reported today about overbooking at Xmas. This is NOT true.
It would be nice to see if the 'holiday rep' who wrote earlier would post back tonight maybe we could get a better idea

When I enquired today Balkan holidays told me today there had been problems. They were quite open that over booking had occured in the last week.They told me it had taken some time to sort the problem out, but that eventually everyone had a room. (Not necessarily what they booked though I guess).
I'm keeping an open mind. I'm there for the snowboarding. Whatever problems there are I will make the best of it and then kick up a fuss once I get back.

We are staying at Pamps hotel and all overbooking has now been resolved with 4+ people sharing twin rooms with extra beds. All ok. Everyone just getting on and enjoying there holiday.
Snow has been good up until today and now very sunny with no sign of any snowfall. Slopes are good in the morning as snow cannons have been used icy and patchy in the afternoon. Very very busy this week slopes are like motorways so you have to take care - already had a broken leg in our ski group.
