11 of us are going out on 24th Dec but wont arrive till late so seems we will miss the Christmas Gala meal so will be looking for somewhere else to eat for a christmas celebration meal.
Can anybody give me a honest opinion on the hotel as we have seen some very varying opinions saying the photos and descriptions in the brouchures are very wrong.
The Perelik was at one time the most popular hotel in the resort and is still one of the first considerations for many who wish to stay in the heart of the resort. However it is starting to get a little dated and whilst many rooms have been refurbished recently there are now better hotels within the resort. Stayed there many times and never over impressed with the food but it's passable.

The location is fabulous for nightlife with several bars and clubs within the complex. You also have a covered walkway between the Perelik and Morgavets hotels where you will find lots of shops selling ski and boarding stuff. There is also a chemists there as well. Ten pin bowling, pool, and games room can all be accessed without going outside. There is also a cash dispenser in the mail lobby.
My honest opinion of the Perelik is that it is still an OK hotel and I'm sure you will find it to your liking - it's just been overtaken in the last few years for quality by some of the more recently built and upgraded hotels.
I don't know if you know the Perelik this year is going 'all inclusive' so if you've got this option all meals in hotel and on the slopes and drinks are included as below:
Hot and cold breakfast buffet lunch on the slopes or at the hotel an afternoon snack on the slopes or at the hotel 3 course buffet style evening meal weekly local specialities evening hot drinks 12:00-21:00 soft drinks 12:00-21:00 Bulgarian beer & wine 12:00-22:00 Bulgarian brandy, cognac, vodka, ...

This means the hotel will be used more by the guests who are on the AI option, so the bars and restaurants will be more lively.
I'm staying there 21 Jan and got a fantastic deal,2 adults 'all inclusive', flight, transfers and full ski packs for £723 (for both of us!).
You say and I quote 'all meals in hotel and on the slopes and drinks are included'.
I cannot believe this for one second. Does that mean if I goi into Peters Bar on the slopes and drink myself silly all day and stuff myself with food that the Perelik are going to foot the bill? Because that's how it sounds.

From what I can gether they have a arrangement with a bar/resteraunt on the slopes where you can go for lunch & drinks Im pressuming at certain times and then again in the afternoon for snack and drinks.
Does state that these can be taken in the hotel or the slopes.
AI in the hotel looks like alchol will be served untill 10pm with the AI option.
Agreed seemed very good value we are a family of 2 adults and 3 kids all having 5 days tution equipment etc 24-31 Dec £2500 couldnt be ...

Just hoping the hotel is what we have seen in the brouchure that is all.
I just feel that needs to be clarified, as in that case it is not all drinks and food on the slopes - it is drinks and food on the slopes but only at a specific venue.
As the Perelik has 198 double rooms and 10 single rooms, I can imagine this venue on the slopes will become mighty busy come 1pm each day!
You are only quoting the one line and failed to read the actual description of the AI deal which clearly states, and I quote, 'lunch on the slopes or at the hotel an afternoon snack on the slopes or at the hotel'
This does not mean you can go from Bar to Bar eating and drinking along the way anywhere on the slopes!
As for in the evening at the hotel then the AI works the same as any other up till 10.00pm

As for in the evening at the hotel then the AI works the same as any other up till 10.00pm

Trevor - that does not say where on the slopes, it merely states lunch on the slopes. So does that mean a packed lunch, or does it mean lunch in a restaurant? If it is a restaurant - which one?

The point I'm trying to clarify is this.
If part of the cost of my holiday included lunch on the slopes I would want to know where that lunch is. Will it be in a warm restaurant where I can choose whatever I want,or will it be just a packed lunch that I would have to eat out in the cold? If it is in a restaurant and I have to eat in the same restaurant every single day, I would want to know if it is a restaurant that I like and if the foods good there. Also, what is included in 'the meal'. 1 course - 2 courses - 3 courses? Or just a sandwich and an apple?
I'm not knocking it - I would just like to know a little more detail.
It is something that I'm trying to get Snezhanka management to do something similar by offering an AI option which includes lunch at one of the restaurants on the piste - as currently the only AI deal that Snezhanka can offer my guests involves them returning to the hotel for lunch! Not really practical with no buses running between 10 and 3! Probably not up and running for this season but watch this space for next!
