Hotel Rila

Can anyone tell us do we need to take passport pictures with us for the ski pass? will this save time when in borovets?
Also has anybody heard anything good about the Rila, as we are worried as we have read pages and pages of awful stuff about the place.

Stayed last year, clean had no problems, lots of security. food not brill some nights better than others breakfast fine if you like tea take your own. rooms very warm. dont leave any valuables in rooms just in case. take english notes clean shop around for best rate as hotel wasnt very good. when u hand in passports just leave them untill you leave saves getting safty/dep/bx.
we are staying in chalet this time 19/2 next door to rila due to excellant location of rila.

We have just returned from the Rila. Like you we were worried about comments we had read but our stay was brill. It is in a superb location, the food is fine unless you are very fussy and will find fault just for the sake of it! The rooms are fairly spacious and warm with maid service every day . We will definitetly return to the Rila. Hope you have a great week like us and have no worries.

HAVE MY 2 KIDS WITH ME 13 & 19 ARE SOME GOOD PLACES TO EAT OUT ,THAT YOU COULD RECOMEND THIER NOT FUSSY ,WILL EAT ANYTHING WITHIN REASON ..THANKS
