Hotel Vihren Palace Bansko - Advice Please

Has anybody been to this hotel?

What is it really like and how close is it to the gondola?

Any information greatly appreciated.

Hi Nick, We stayed there 2 weeks ago. It was great, the rooms were amazing! The food was lovely - a bit repetative, but very nice and plenty of it. There's a ski room in the basement and you are very close to the gondola (just over the car park - 2-3mins). I hope you have a great week - we're going back on 27th March. X

We are a family of 5 staying one of the 1 bed suits, do you know if its big enough for three kids to sleep in the lounge area

Hi Simon, I'm sure you'll be able to sleep 3 kids in the lounge area. Our room had a sofa that would make into a double bed and a seperate lounger that another person could sleep on. You'll just need a bit extra linen, but housekeeping were fab. We asked for new dressing gowns and they brought them within 5 mins (all fluffy like they'd just come out the tumble dryer!).

Hi Nick

We've stayed there - rooms spacious and plenty of room to fit 5 in! Food good - we preferred the bar meals and they have some excellent red wines. Staff very helpful and friendly. Just a few mins from gondola.

Nick, Wireless web connnection is free in the bar area, but you need a cable to connect in your room (but it's free).

Soz Nick I cannot be sure, but think looking at the socket a UK cable would be fine. If you do need a cable, just over the road is the Bansko Mall - go to the ground floor electical dept as they have them. X
