Hammer them for lift passes, equipment hire, travel to and from the lifts etc. Give ABTA a ring and find out where you stand as far as them (Neilson) cancelling so close to the departure date. It sucks! its all about over booking or getting a better offer from another parties, trouble is that nearly everywhere will be booked up, not trying to wee on you chips but a party of 30 this late...might be another country.

ib be happy going the kempski, but its down to them to find us somewhere, the pi$$er is the fact weve been booked for so long! as we go in a big group we always book as soon as they will take bookings to prevend cr@p like this happeneing (

Sorry to hear yourplight, that sucks, but try the Hotel Lion. It's 4*, but absolutely lush. Great pool, bar and the rooms are wonderful. Plus they run a free shuttle bus every 15-20 mins to the gondola. If you want to walk, it takes about 10mins tops.

problem mikey with that is the shuttle bus stops running around 10.30 and if the less able bodied people possibly cant manage the walk, I persume this is your problem col, I wouldnt just take this you booked so long ago as cuz says go to ABTA and see what your rights are.

A tad cold - I'm from up north, think nothing of swimming in the north sea around Whitby and still found it bloody freezing, just keep running to the steam room to defrost. the hotel is great, the food better than expected, rooms warm and it's just as easy to walk to the gondola as it is to wait for the shuttle bus.

They'd better not have over booked me or they'll "be trouble t' mill"
