Well its like this,
When little fleety and little fleety's bigger sister were littler and not so bigger they wanted to see snow at Christmas, the only way to do this was to go somewhere snowy !!! we booked to go to Pamps over Christmas, we didn't ski we didn't even book lift passes, this was about 8 years ago, we got there and there was plenty of snow, we hired sledges and had so much fun up and down the nursery slopes and met so many great people that we booked ...

re: How Did It All Start For You?

First went to Boro Xmas 2007 aged 37, always did Summer hols before but got married in 2006 and my new hubby hates sunbathing. I must say I wasn't sure but gave it a go anyway and have never looked back. We have been every year since. The first year we met The Meins and Chris our ski instructor who were really nice and we have met up with them since. Also met Bobby and Kas along the way and have kept in touch. Sadly, this year we didn't go at Xmas so didn't manage to catch up with everyone ...

If you have never skiied before it's well worth a try. You will be hooked.

Anyway, work took her to Finland one spring and as she was there decided to take a few days of lessons.
As soon as she got back, it was 'we have to go, and take the kids'.
Booked up for Boro for the following Xmas within 2 weeks of her returning and been going every year since.
That was 12 years ago.

Things have changed somewhat now. My son is now nearly 23 and instead of me taking him for a Pizza at Franco's, he now takes me to Kaz & Bobby's Bar for Rakia shots and vodka.
What more can I say.............result!
