How Much Spending Money????

Off to Bansko on the 28th and trying to decide how much spending money i will. Going Self Catering so obviously will need food for the apartment, lunch and dinner daily. Plus enough to have a decent drink at night. all lift passes and ski-hire is paid for so dont need to worry about that. I am budgeting about £400 at the moment, is this realistic or optimistic??

It's a little bit optimistic, especially you have no food prepaid. It's better if you go for the realistic £600-700, this should be enough.

Phil is that for a week fo 1 person? If so £400 is plenty.

Take some tins and a bag of rice or similar to tide you over until you get your bearings. £400 should be okay. Also depends on wheter you are going on the lash every night or just a sip at the local??

yes £400 per person i meant. ok will bear that in mind ian cheers. probably not going on the lash but will be going for a few pints after skiing

i think i would probably spend most of that on doughnuts at the end of a hard days ski

When we went last year s/c we bought bread and cereal, usual breakfast stuff from local shop, doughnuts for dinner yum yum, then in the evening we ate at the Bansko Spa hotel opposite the four leaf clover appartments, we ate like kings, leaving stuffed every night and it never cost more than £20 for the 4 of us!!!! never tried anywhere else at that price.

Hey Phil not long now, forecast looking good for our arrival. I think 400 is enough, we usually spend £400 between 2 of us and we are half board but eat out a few evenings as well and drink lots and have a few massages!!!! See you there
