How long?

I am 14 and never been skiing before. How long does it take to get used to the ski's and be able to go down the slopes with ease?

well at least two seasons to be confidento on your own, but in a wekk you will learn enough to get up them slopes

Hello and welcome to the forum. Firstly well done and a big pat on the back for not mentioning snow!!!!

Ok By the end of your second day you should be able to do gentle turns and stop when you want!!!! Always important that bit. As you are so young you lucky sod you will more than likely be bombing down the slope at the end of your first week. Enjoy

Welcome to the site, ignore the trolls when they post dumb stuff. Once you learnt the basics snow plough and snowplough turns day one the rest is confidence as Dan said you should be whizzing down the slopes by the end of the week. Your at a great age to learn.
