Hunters Ski School for kids?

We are staying at the Flora apartments with our children (7 and 9 years old) at half term. I gather that the Hunters Ski School would be convenient in terms of location, and they seem to have a straightforward on line booking system.

Does anyone have any experience of this ski school, especially for children. Or, dare i say it, a discount booking code?? Very Happy

The cost for an adult ski pass and ski hire for a week with them is 192 euros. Is this the going rate?

Thanks in advance for any ...

re: Hunters Ski School for kids?

We've used Hunters and can really recommend them. All our kids were skiing in a week no problem (5,7,9 at the time) and we will be using them again this March. Price wise they were very good value and were doing an early bird discount until the the end of Dec but my suggestion would be to get in touch with them direct and see if you can negotiate something.

Thanks Jez. I will email them, but most of their special offers state that they are not applicable at half term

My kids can ski already (easy runs, snow plough turns, can use button/drag lifts) but its good to know that they are used to children.

Jez, as a parent, can I ask ask you also about the seedier side of borovets? Did you have to shield your children's eyes at any point?? Surprised

re: Hunters Ski School for kids?

no more than youd have to stop them watching some pop videos in the uk!!! actually due to the poor economic climate theyre not as prolific as before>
weve been taking our children since they were born and i can honestly say that not once have they commented on anything 'sleazy' at all, and that includes spending a whole season there> fear not.
With regards to hunters/ski schools, they are very used to kids of all ages, its their job after all, they will have a great time, enjoy your hols Booze

re: Hunters Ski School for kids?

I can second that - there was no problems with the seedier side of things at all. re Hunters & half term, I can't comment as we've never gone in half term but if you were using them for transfers, ski packs etc. then there can be no harm in asking!

re: Hunters Ski School for kids?

That's good to know re sleaze factor. Thanks.

I emailed Hunters direct, hoping for a better deal, but they quoted me more than their online booking system was quoting!

Any views on Hunters vs Borosport for quality of tuition, equipment and convenience (given that we are staying at Flora apartments.)
