All the best Sophie, I had a small fracture in my wrist years ago and I needed a cast too. The good news is that the cast was only on for 10 days so you may just be fine.

Well said IMT,
I slipped on some deisel on a garage forcourt and had a small fracture in my fore arm and the cast was on and off in 14 days......
Another person looking near to cancelling holiday.....keep ya chin up and keep up the good work as master while Pete's away.....

Oh Soph......what r u like? Typical girl............I know Ive been there wiv my now 20 yr old daughter. and her sister is 9 so Ive got it to come all again.....WHY DONT GIRLS LISTEN.

Anyway chuckles I so hope your arm is right for your hols.....fingers and toes crossed.

Don't worry Sophie, I broke a bone in the base of my thumb, and the plaster came off by itself after a week, and didn't need replacing. You'll be fine I'm sure.

How are you - hope your arm's not to sore. I broke both bones in my wrist August 03, so I know how you must be feeling. When do you go on holiday? As it was a serious break had my arm in plaster for 8 weeks, but after 2 you can move around a little and We went on holiday in September - wasnt skiing or anything, but I managed.

Fingers crossed you will be alright - let us all know asap.

If mum still wont go on hol - we will start a petition up to bully her into ...

My son Daz broke his wrist in Sunny Beach last June. Had his plaster on while there and when we came back had it on for 1 week, so only 3 weeks in total. Might be a chance.
