No age barrier to snowboarding, I am late 40's, partner early 50's, gave up skiing a very long time ago and haven't looked back.

Hi Julie,we had our first skiing holiday to Austria in jan, I dragged hubby(57) and 10yr old son off in search of snow!! They both got the hang of it straight away and left me on the nursery slopes for the week.I found the instructors spoke little english and didn't have much patience,so after a lot of research( mostly on this site)found that the instructors in pamps are highly rated for beginners.So off we go in Jan...I will not give up! Just worried that there will not be any snow,as i ...

Right then, snowboarding it is. . so. . . I will need nice new shiny board, them bindy things, snowboarding boots, and of course I will have to have all new clothes cos cant possibly snowboard in my old ski gear can I (hee hee) hubby is mortified Julie x
