That I am the only person on this forum that has her own ski boots and after lots and lots of lessons still cant ski, (I also have got very trendy ski wear and I so totally look the part, sunlasses etc) but. . .. . I still keep going back to Bulgaria for another try,

I have taken the wife 6 times now, & she still won't come out of the snowplough.
Even had private lessons for a week this year. 4 hours a day.
Private lessons again for next Jan.
One day it will click. (I pray)
3 years ago, she had 3 new jackets in one week.
2 years ago, when Pamps had no snow, she refused to ski & still came back with new boots.

Oh my god. . Sign Man I feel so much better now I too have had a full week of one to one tuition . . and with Christo who was a ski champ.. . the best part of going on my skiing holiday is buying all the lovely new gear ,
Sam, I will continue to try very hard to ski, but I am hopeles, maybe one day it wil click.. . I am such an expert on slowplough.. . .bend zee knees, dont lean back etc etc etc love it

I went to Chill Factor-e the other week for a bit of a practice and reminder before feb, did great. Went 2 weeks later and couldn't stay on my feet. gave up after an hour and went to the bar for a very large glass of wine...I tried to blame it on the snow (too powdery one side, to icy in the middle) and the snowboarders (too fast coming past me) but the hubby's having none of it. I try though, and have a great time doing it, even though I look like a complete pleb
I know you may think it insane but why not give snowboarding a try for a few days, we got a friends mother aged 64 who just couldn't get the hang of skiing all padded out, crash pants, back protector, knee pads and she loved the whole deal of snowboarding as it didn't hurt when she fell and her feet were together, she fell a lot but also managed the nursery slopes all by herself. Unfortunately her husband broke his leg skiing and will never go again, she would be game though, she said she ...
