IN BOROVETS NOW

Snow is shocking. I am so glad i am leaving tomorrow. It is raining at the moment. The slopes are virtually grass. There is snow at the top of the gondola but you have to watch out for rocks and pretruding grass; plus you can only ski half way down. The q for the gondola is about an hour though! However the nightlife is banging so just getting wrecked everynight. GET IN

Just had contact with friends in boro, and they said its not that bad and the rain has now turned to snow.

I mentioned it was raining, it is now tipping it down. The snow is flowing off the pistes into the hotel. Plus there is a power cut in reception and so the beers are warm and in minimal supply. Still i am sure you will have a great time if you enjoy mountain walking and sunbathing. I know i sound harsh but best to be honest. Stay at home and go to the snowdome if you can get your money back. Way better conditions.

Mate you are lying or you work for someone in borovets. If i had a webcam you would see me with my snorkel on. beleive me its not good. Sorry to bring such bad news. Good news, the electricity is back on and the beers are getting colder

usually the resort is lower down than the runs up in the mountain, and usually rain in the resort means its snowing up top.

Not been to Borovets though so don't know if the same is true but everywhere else I've been it is.
