re: Iglika Palace

I stayed at the Iglika over New Year - nice hotel! Might be better to book a superior room tho as they are a lot bigger with sofa etc.

Food was good, drinks very cheap - happy hour seems to be all night!

Location is great as you can cut through the Rila and be at the foot of the slopes, tho over Xmas and New Year there was no snow!!!

I would defo go back to the Iglika.

I love Iglika, going back for the third year this year. See if you can get a superior room. We got upgraded 2 years ago and it's way nicer

Hi,

Going back to Iglika Palace in March 2011 and this will our third stay here. We have booked a superior room this time. They are alot bigger rooms with a sofa bed, table and chair with mirror, a bath and over shower, hairdryer and balcony. We have stayed in a standard room twice before but having seen our friends superior room when we were there in January this year we decided to pay the extra £38.50 per person for the week to upgrade.

The hotel is situated in a great location ...
Hi,

Going back to Iglika Palace in March 2011 and this will our third stay here. We have booked a superior room this time. We have stayed in a standard room twice before but having seen our friends superior room when we were there in January this year we decided to pay the extra £38.50 per person for the week to upgrade.

The hotel is situated in a great location (just behind the Rila). Only minutes to ski lifts and main bar/restaurant area.

The girls in the bar do a great job and it is also happy hour on all cocktails and rum and coke, vodka and coke etc from 7pm till 1pm. We have breakfast most mornings in the hotel which is a typical Bulgarian 3* breakfast (luke warm fry up) but it does the job.

Kim.
