Cannons can only operate if temps allow. Must be between -3 and - 10 for them to work.Pete

24 hour bar is small,in the lobby,but definitely 24 hours..as we found out on sat night.
We spent from 10 to 4 boarding today. Yes,it gets slushy in the afternoon in parts like shiligarnika but it'r still do-able.
Chalin val looks really good,you go over it on gondola,will try it tomor. Some of it looks really steep.
The fun park looked good,but didn't make it there today. Was great up the top though. Slope 3 was my favourite today.
If the temp drops,the canons will be back on.

Just back from dinner in 'vakanova kashta' on pirin st in the old town,about fifteen minutes down from gondola, delicious,especially the chicken and veg skewer..staff lovely and remember our names!!-From last year!
So many lovely mehanas off the beaten track,so keep walking down. Cheaper too.
Then wandered up town and had a beer in a couple of cozy mehanas,finished in friendly bar. Good fun

Just back from dinner in 'vakanova kashta' on pirin st in the old town,about fifteen minutes down from gondola, delicious,especially the chicken and veg skewer..staff lovely and remember our names!!-From last year!

Then wandered up town and had a beer in a couple of cozy mehanas,finished in friendly bar. Good fun

hiquite alot of mixed reports about the snow cover. has there been any fresh snow at all or is it all ice and snow cannon? snowboarding on ice sucks 100 times more difficult and alot more painful!

p.s. not being rude but really not bothered about food etc i need snow!!!! so would love it if some one could report more about the slopes how much real snow not cannon etc
