Spoke to Inghams who have informed me that a green programme will be in place if there is no snow when my family arrives on Dec 30th. When asked about the money already spent on lift passes , skis-boots and lessons for 5 i was informed that the excursions that we would be taken on cost more than the money i had already spent.
"It actually costs us money (Inghams) and there is lots to do, museums etc" . I can`t wait to tell the kids, please snow !!!

I'm with Inghams and go to Borovets on the 6th, I dont intend on going out there if there is no snow and I cant snowboard, I dont want to go to bloody Museums! I hope the insurance my travel agent sold us will prove to be useful if I need it.

We are booked with Inghams too for the same day, look in the back of the brochure it says if the rep endorses your ski pack vouchers with lift closure, ie if no snow you can claim a full refund less £5.00. The green programme is optional and should not be paid for out of your ski pack money.

It is a contingency plan in the even that enough snow doesn't fall in time for your holiday e.g. the people going over xmas and NY. It involves them putting together other "touristy" type programmes such as going for a guided tour of the village, museums, walks in the forest or mountains, drinking games (i'm sure), and any other local attractions.
Let's all hope that the snow comes very quickly!!!!

Count yourselves lucky!!!
I'm traveling with bucket tours there green programme goes like this.

8am wake up with a cup of green tea
10am arobics with the Lizzie the green godess
12noon Lunch green salad
2pm guest speaker Q&A with Sarah Green
5pm Crown green bowling.
That sucks!

your insurance will not cover the cost of your holiday if you want to change best look at it now they will charge a supplement to do so but if there is no snow you will only get between £20 to £40 a day back and will have tp prove no snow, usually will be issued with somnething from the rep. see my earlier posting there is a legal ruling on this to do with holiday enjoyment

Booked with bucket tours bit worried they said the fight out will take 4 hours instead of the normal 3 cos they need to do some crop spraying on the way. should never have booked on teletex. he,he
