Inspired & Captivated

Visited Borovets at Christmas time with my family, stayed at The Samokov Hotel, I found the Country was such a Wild and Beautiful Place that I will definately be going back, 1st on a Summer Holiday to the Sunny Beach resort this Year 2007, and if I can save enough back to Borovets in March 2008!, So please let it Snow for Everyone!!! Sunbathing & Skiing ... Love it all .Alison!!!!

Bulgaria is beautiful country with much to see and explore (with an open mind in some cases). If you get the chance, whilst enjoying your beach holiday, take the time to explore the local area. Sozopol and Nessebar are lovely- ancient towns (sozopol is def better-less touristy). Varna has many attractions for a coastal city-including shopping, dolphinarium, aquarium, small zoo, great sea garden. Sunny Beach is very busy if you like that style, with plenty of life.

Never been in Summer Benson but thinking of it I must say! (however Canada next week and the Boro in March means the Summer holl will be in the Uk this year!)

we enjoyed a perfect christmas in bulgaria skiing in borovets.We stayed in relyovo a tiny village and loved it , i woke up to a great view every day but most of all the kids loved it. samokov has some great places to eat and people are very welcoming everywhere

Arrh! Benson, whats funny, I for one really look forward to the weather reports, whoever they are from (we all live for hope of snow!). You clearly have more knowledge of whats happening than the likes of me, and i read your posts with anticipation!
Away from that, you do clearly like the place and thats more important whatever the weather!
