We are going in early Feb to Pamps, and trying not to be too disconsolate, it's looking iffy for snow perhaps although Feb is still 2 months away.
However, should the unspeakable happen we would like to be properly insured for it. We are looking at insure and go but can't make head nor tail of whether we'd be covered if the boarding conditions were poor.
Any of you have any experience on claiming if conditions were bad, or it wrote your holiday off pretty much and if so what are ...

Dave, whilst that would no doubt be amusing and provide me with a great "consolation prize" this will not recompense me for a largely wasted holiday if it happened!
I'm a travel agent and i know my insurance will cover me if it happens but i know you only get a certain amount per day if runs are closed, up to a low maximum amount (a £150pp or something). the best thing to do is ring the insurance company and ask them as every policy is different.
Pieste closure insurance is available with all tour operators.
Balkan holidays quote..........
If there is no downhill facilities open in your resort (over 1000 metres) due to the lack of snow, you will be paid £20 per person per day to a maximum of 10 days for each day lost.
This is standard on their policy and attracts no excess payment.
