Insurance?

Hey all,

Maybe its because im getting old and sensible....!(on second thought no!)

Im fretting and dilly dallying about whats the best insurance to get? i think its because i have had a bad experience this year with some bike insurance and dont want to get bitten again!

Anyway, has anyone got any reccomendations/experiences anything really just looking for decent insurance?

Thanks in advance snow people!!

re: Insurance?

Think there's a site called insure and go, something like that. Our friends got sorted out on there - we have via our bank account, so no need for us to get elsewhere.

re: Insurance?

would recomend insure and go.online
go 4 an annual policy u get winter sports free
but go for something like there gold pack not the base pack, better insurance with nil excess.
plus if u have kids under 18 they insure for free

re: Insurance?

I agree with above, Insure and Go gold level allows off piste snowboarding/skiing and off piste can mean you just crash off into the woods at the side of a groomed piste, I have heard some insurance companies refuse to pay out if injury happens outside of groomed marked piste.

re: Insurance?

The Post Office is good, especially if you are taking children with you.

We've had to make claims after two ski trips (one in Pamps and one in Borovets) and both times I've had a cheque back from them within days, not only for medical expenses but also for the 'unused' part of the ski package. There's a 50euro excess.

Another vote for Insureandgo. Excellent ski cover.

re: Insurance?

Are you covered on your credit card or maybe covered on bank account. i.e gold accounts. Or I have used world wide travel and insureandgo for other people as previously mentioned.
