Out of curiosity how many people take there insurance papers with them up the mountain ????? I was knocked over by ski boarder taken to hospital torn ligaments in shoulder £250 medical bill ??? Could not claim back on insurance as did not have the other person insurance details ,,, plus at the time that's the last thing u think of asking 4 insurance details ???? Still off from work 7 was on
I wouldn't mention the ski boarder and just say you fell and injured yourself whilst skiing. They should still have to cover you. Isn't that what insurance is for?
Our rep came with me to hospital done all the phoning all to do with insurance details said should have no problem claiming ??? Like u said that's the whole point of taking insurance out if it needs to b used very annoying ,,,, watching webcam bansko glad we went when we did in Jan not a lot snow at mo roll on next Jan
Sobering and useful message, Karen. Thanks for posting it. I am surprised you need details of whoever went into you - it's not like it's a car accident!
Would you care to 'name and shame' the insurance company as a warning? Regardless I will be checking with my own company when I come to renew.
I now always have my health card and a copy of my insurance policy in my ski/board jacket pocket , also its worth scanning and printing off a copy of your passport (photo page ) and keeping that with the other documents. stay safe.
