Is the gas problem affecting the airports

Does anyone know if the gas shortage is likely to affect the airports. Also if they are switching the electricity off, is this in the day or at night, what kind of affect is this having.

by the look of the replies I think everyone wants to know, but nobody does, surely the hospitals get priority over the airports regarding power???

Not sure what you mean by 'affecting' Mel. If you mean the possibility of closure then I would say not a chance as I can see no reason why they would. Gas has no place in keeping the airport functional so I can see no problem there.

Heating wise, most heating systems in Bulgarian public buildings are oil heated and as such would have no effect, however I have no idea what the heating systems are at the airports so the only downfall I can see possible may be that they are a little colder ...

I can see no reason why you should be concerned.
