Is there Snow in Bansko Town

Hi everyone

Coming out to Bansko tomorrow

Just wanted to know if there is any snow in the actual town?

no fresh snow. there are some small mounds of old snow lying around but these are all dirty now.

Hi nightmuffy and Steve,has there been any fresh snow fall on the slopes over the last few days? Im going to Bansko on the 6th and the webcam does'nt show any signs of recent snow

Hi Denise, I arrived back from Bansko last night and im really sorry to say that there is no new snow on the mountain. It is still skiable but best to get out as early as possible before the sun hits the slopes and softens it up. Fingers crossed the weather will change for you which is very possible.

Enjoy your Holiday, still better than being at work.

You missed it then Andrew, check cams, there is snow in the trees at Shilli and top of gondola... Was snowing on Predal when a friend drove in last night... Not a lot granted, but still some...

Just my luck to miss it though still got some great skiing in.

Lets hope the temp drops for the new travellers or the new snow will just mush up with the rest of it.

Must say after getting home and seeing the English weather I know where id rather be this morning. Roll on next season and maybe ill try Borovets for a change..
