The Borovets webcam is situated on top of the Rila hotel. When the fog clears up, you'll see there's plenty!

we were there for new year (flew back on 2nd), there wasn't any snow on roads in town, just ice, but the slopes were ok.

The wind, yes. Not sure about the fog, saying that I've never personally experienced lifts being closed by fog! Very Happy

The sking is 10Km (20 mins in gondola) and several thousand feet higher than the hotels. The ski road back to town is maintained with snowmaking. Snow around the hotels is irrelevant from a skiing perspective.

Extremely unlikely that fog will affect opening of gondola or runs
