The white stuff is coming, spoke with a good frined of mine by the name of snowy(named so because of his white hair from a very young age),but who happens to work in a weather station.
He says , and he is usually right about these things ,the Alps are to get huge dump of snow to morrow ,France and Italy are to be very heavey this will last for 8days and then this waether front will move on towards Bulgaria so don,t worry it will be there before most of us.
Hi all,
first time for me on this chat site, but i've watching the messages over the last 3/4 days and its' a pleasure to see a positive bit of snow news, well done that man !!, im not out until jan 13th but was quietly pooing myself about the lack of snow, now i can relax and look forward, just one thing i cant ski !!
I hope so, im booked into ski school, so im sort of hoping i'll be on my feet rather than me ass !! i feel sorry for my teacher, boy is he going to have the most testing week of his life.
Im going to Pamporovo, I did here that the ski school was supposed to be one of the best in Europe, or was that the Thompson-ski sales chat ?
I did go to Borovets about 12 years ago but did'nt ski to much due the beer being about 15p a pint in those days, but i fully intend to master the art this time round.
I know, I'm going to Sestriere (Italy for xmas) so, you can imagine my excitement at the predicted snow fall for tomorrow - 40cm and a further 18cm on Saturday!!!
And i'm confident that by the time I arrive in bansko on 27th Jan the same conditions will prevail!!!
This is going to be a fantastic year for powder skiing!
