Hey Everyone,

Booked to go to Pamporovo on January 3rd but as a lot of people are, I'm starting to panic that there will be little or no snow.

I know people will probably say we were daft to book so early in the season but looking at the webcam images from the last few years, that week looked pretty decent for snow. I know nobody can really tell me if they're is going to be snow until practically the day before but in peoples past experiences what has the snow been like week of 3rd - 10th Jan.

Also, staying at the Snezhanka, anybody been there and if so how did you rate it?

Thanks philipf, the hotel looks great in the brochure and I've yet to read a bad review online.

Have a few questions, mainly re: resort and ski school

1) Booked an 'improver' package with the ski school (through thomsons) but slightly worried I should have gone back to beginners as I haven't ski'd in 3 years. What is the Ski school like for those who aren't beginners but fairly apprehensive intermediates? and how hard are the hardest runs?

2) There are 2 of us going, aged 21 and 24 so we're looking to sample some apres ski and meet others around our age so me and my mate aren't in each others pockets all the time. Is the resort 20something friendly? Neither of us are massive drinkers (seriously 2pints and I'm done - I'll be the one giggling away to myself in the corner after a pint or 2 of the local brew Steve!) so we're more into the bar/pub thing where the atmosphere is good and everyone is game for a post slope laugh!

3) What are the prices like this year for beer, food, supermarket supplies, slope food etc? My mum and dad went on a beach hol. last year and said it was laughably cheap, but I've heard it's skyrocketed a little since then.

Anyone else who is going to be in Pamporovo this week make sure you give us a wave if you see us...we'll be the two blonde yorkshire girls! Usually heard before seen!!

anything goes,live band realy good,we dont drink much but have been there on occasion and had great time on karaoke ask mark lol.the resort is very friendly.been 6 times and booked jan and feb,take hip flask with brandy on hills and just get chocolate, have a great time dont be put off by numpties looking to put place down,prices arent cheap now and will pay about same as england for imported beer. if you want achat before you go yahoo messenger me
