Normally, we would go skiing (Pamps/Bansko) in February and have been pretty lucky with the amount of snow cover. However, this season we are looking to go in 1st/2nd week of January and was hoping that people that go to Bansko over that period could tell me what the snow conditions have tended to be like over the last few years?

but good luck and have a great hol
sorry cant edit that post but meant to say that we usually go to boro in feb but try to avoid half term week and have always had good snow a few times we have gone in jan and still had great time but lots of ice and patchy snow covering in places and this time we are going towards end of feb and will have to see what we get but the holiday is never bad even if the snow cover is as a fmaily we stil have fun
Hornster, you old snow god you (remember last season??)
Sadly mate last Jan first two weeks were very poor in Bansko, locals claimed that the conditions were unknown
for that time of year though it was quite general throughout the mountains, nothing till the deluge at the end of the month. Bansko does have a lot of snow cannons
and as long as the temperatures are low there will always be some skiing, fingers crossed for better conditions early this season....
