Just got back from Borovets, wicked time..good snow..all lifts open....Questions? Fire away and see if I can help !!

off piste at top of gondola is good with approx 12-18" of snow in drifts producing some incredible depths in places. Saw lots of skiers and boarders 'wading' through it which looked fun !re: Just Back From Borovets

Hi mate were did you stay and did your room have a hair dryer in it as i dont really want to pack the wifes. (lack of room). cheers

All the lifts are NOT open - the Yastrebets express, which covers two of the best pistes is not yet open. You can still ski these pistes but there is no way back, apart from the horse cart or walking. The third piste at the top is also not openre: Just Back From Borovets

The Food ?
The BEER ?
The queues for lifts ?

Stayed at the Samokov Hotel Borovets in Dec 2006,they have built in Hairdryers in Bathrooms, not sure about any other Hotels etc. O.K..
