Do not waste your time, just re-book and go to France. There is already snow i their resorts.

You get what you pay for...

"Do not waste your time, just re-book and go to France. There is already snow i their resorts"

Are you SURE about that Baz???? By all accounts there has been bu**er all snow throughout Europe so far. Some of the higher French resorts have 5-10cms on the glaciers, Switzerland, Austria have nothing, Italy 10-20 cms

I'm off to the Jura mountains in France next week to visit family but will probably be mountain biking/climbing instead of sliding on snow... Will just have to ski in Scotland ...

How long is it going to take to drive to say Bansko from Pamporovo if no snow. Please write down the reply in capital letters so everybody will see what is on offer mate and if it is realistic. So lets see from Pamporovo you deside to go north after 3 hours pass Plovdiv you head west and then start labouring on the road to velingrad all the way to Bansko-that is solid 4-5 hours if the roads are dry and openned.then you ski after 1-2 hours queuing to use the gondola up to Banderitsa where ...

If you decide to organise trip to Borovets choice is this:same hours to reach Borovets. Then ski on the top drag lifts which are less than my fingers on my hand.Count that everyone with skis and boards will be up there as well from Borovets Vitosha and the locals. Then on the way down if there is no snow all the way to bottom lift pausefor good time to reach base and start the drive back.Supply some sick bags for the party.Don't go by the miles or kms, this is in a straight line over mountains from A to B(obviuosly difficult to do)Not much of a choice.
IF THERE IS NO SNOW IN PAMPOROVO THERE IS NO SNOW IN THERE.NOTHING YOU CAN DO.GO TO AN INTERNET PLACE AND BOOK YOUR NEXT SKIING TRIP.TA
