Just In Case (Pamporovo Xmas)

SERIOUS POST FOR ONCE Razz

I am not swaying from my original prediction that Pamporovo will be skiable over Xmas and that is my firm belief.

However I am only human and I too am a little concerned that the snow is running a little later this year, and the possibility of no snow cannot be ruled out completely.

If, and I repeat IF this is the case, and IF there is snow in any other resort then I will arrange a bus for anybody who wants to travel to find snow.

Chepalare is the nearest resort at 20kms (13 miles) but any snow there would almost certainly guarantee snow would also be in Pamporovo.
Next comes Bansko at 104kms (65 miles) then Bovovets at 116 kms (72 miles.)

The cost would obvoiusly depend on which resort we travelled to, plus numbers wishing to go, but it is an option open to any of you who are as desperate to ski as I am over the Christmas period.

I will talk more about this and make meeting arrangements if necessary nearer the time.
