Just back from Bansko

Just to let you all know snow and weather conditions up the mountain are good. snow road comming down from the top gondola ok a bit icy at bottom.stayed at the Perun Hotel with my two boys, Great facilites and friendly staff. Massage is a must.

Hi Johnny,

You must have been there the same time as us, we got back on Sat after staying at the Perun. The only way you may remember me is my pink camouflage jacket, there was a group of 7 of us, in hotel bar most nights but ventured out to the local places on a couple of evenings.

also stayed in the perun at the same week. great hotel with outside pool. good skiing conditions altho my skiing wasnt so good. the local bars are excellent particulally happy end and friendly bar. just want to be back there.

breakfast quite good in perun but the evening meals are a bit dodgy. some nights were good but others had little choice. found other places in the town very affordable to eat out. just watch out for the guys trying to get you into their places.

didnt manage to get to gondala till about 9 as breakfast isnt served untill 8 .if yer having lessons they start at 10 so you need to be on gondola before 9.30

Yep I would try and get ther sooooo early for your ski gear or you will be queueing until 12 and miss 1/2 days skiing, as I did coz I got there at 9.30

Going out on the 3rd and just need to get there soooo much already.

I assume it's best to skip breakfast first day in the Perun and get to the hire shop ASAP to pick up gear.

Is the ski school meet up on the mountatin or at the Gondola station?

Anybody got any tips for the best boarding runs?
